Rock Center
The Bible is a best-seller, but it still seems unlikely as the center of a game show. But it is, and it’s a big hit. The Game Show Network (GSN) is finding success in its faith-based game show, "The American Bible Challenge," where host Jeff Foxworthy says, "If you don’t know your Bible, you don’t have a prayer."
Rock Center's Harry Smith goes to the set to find out what in Heaven’s name is going on.
Test your Bible knowledge and watch Rock Center Friday at 10pm/9c for Harry Smith's full report.

If all the questions are that easy maybe I should apply to be a contestant.....
I know, right? I'm agnostic and I got them all correct too.
Seriously. If passing that quiz means I'm smarter than the average Sunday school teacher, people better start letting their kids skip class.
Most christians have never read the bible, they might get one out of the four.
It's funny, I always remember when there was a daily trivia quiz sent by fax to our company. We started taking the quiz each day in the office where I worked, and one day one of the questions was "How many sons were on Noah's ark?" I seriously thought it was a joke at first, because I thought, "Heck, everybody knows that. Not only how many there but what their names are." Nobody in the office even knew how many there were. You're right, surprising how so many that consider themselves Christian have very little idea of what the Bible actually says.
I did pretty good for an agnostic myself. ( (4 out of 4). But I used to teach Sunday School. Don't ask, it's complicated.
Please don't lump all Christians together. We Lutheran's (Catholic Lite) study the bible begging in Sunday school as children. We are also taught to read the bible to see what it says for ouselves. How ever those who call themselves "Evangelicals" obviously do NOT. Otherwise their leaders would not be able to shove all the BS down their uneducated throats.
That's pretty cynical. I consider myself and Evangelical and I DO read my Bible, as well as cover to cover several times. Please do not lump us all together. There are many genuine, compassionate Evangelicals out there. We are not all "Bible thumpers" and there is no shame in being one! I don't consider sharing the gospel and teaching the truth of Scripture BS, and I am certainly not "uneducated". I've been to college AND graduated. Don't be so narrow-minded. We are not all radicals, but if being a radical saves one soul from damnation, then I'll be proud to wear that label. Christians are far more tolerant that you give us credit for. I hope you will reconsider your stance.
Ahh. Got your feelings hurt?
after shuffling between Dad's Church of Christ (very literal group) and Mom's Methodist churches, (Mom & Dad were happily married for 60 years!) I learned quite a bit. In those days Sunday School at all main churches included learning the Bible. I'm sure I would freeze in a competition though.
One day in Sunday School class my teacher asked the group of teens, "How many of each animal did Moses place on the Ark?"
Almost everyone in class yelled out "Two!"
The teacher used that as a teaching example to never grow complacent in anything in our lives, even religion, and think we know the answers by rote... to always be aware of not only the answers but the questions.
To m-squared: who is really reading the Bible? Does it not say "judge not, lest thee be judged"? Why would you berate fellow Bible believing Christians? This is what the world has against us. The Word says, 'they will know us by our love'. Would anyone know you belong to God by the love you show to other believers? I am very disturbed that you would blast fellow believers this way. Have you heard that there is One faith, one baptism. We believe in the same God. Do you think you'll have a separate heaven -- perhaps a Lutheran's Only section?
I am estatic that a Bible quiz show is doing so well. It can serve as encouragement for Christians to get more into the Word of God. There are some great stories there!
