The family of Gabby Douglas, the 16-year-old star gymnast, said that she almost gave up on her Olympic dream just months before the games.
“It was pretty drastic. She really, really sounded pretty serious about it,” said Douglas' sister, Arielle Hawkins.
Now practicing harder than ever for London's Olympics, Douglas reflected on her journey to the U.S. Olympic team. Before competing at the Olympics she said, "I'm not here to play around. I'm going to do this. I'm going to get in and get out."
