Rock Center

On March 7, Rock Center aired parts of an NBC report from 1962 where anchor Chet Huntley described a new phenomenon called Spring Break. The report showed college students fiercely pursuing fun as they twisted, did the limbo and chugged beer. Rock Center recently tracked down some of the young adults recorded by NBC's cameras 50 years ago. As Brian Williams reports, many are now grandparents and have grown up to be doctors, a mayor and even a Christmas tree farmer.
