Totally agreed here. I am really disappointed in Rock Center - there are better things than this to report on. It almost feels like Rock Center spent Monday night getting whored out to the GOP. Did you feel cheap spending all that time on your back Mr. Williams?
I think Brian Williams is more of an instigator than a moderator. He has from the beginning provoked arguments between the candidates. I think he needs to look at his watch since he let the back and forth bickering go on forever. Shameful!

Need to look at immigration delays. There are people who submit an application for legal status, have been waiting for over 10 years for an appt and are required 10 more years for approval. Right now, to date, they are still trying to approve April 1994 applications. That is ridiculous! People get desperate..so solve the delays and you won't have increased problem of illegal immigration.
Hello! Why have Dr. Paul on if you won't ask him the same amount of questions? Why not ask him his views of illegal immigration? These debates are so biased.
Repeal NAFTA and WTO. Candidates are worried about sending illegals back when they need to worry about bringing American jobs back.
In the 1992 Presidential Debates, the participants were William Jefferson Clinton, George Herbert Walker Bush, and H. Ross Perot, the third party (Reform) candidate.
This clip is memorable because Ross Perot used the phrase "giant sucking sound" when referring to the NAFTA deal, and many would argue that in 2010, he has been proven to be correct on this issue.
Disappointed...wasn't worth watching. Brian Williams seemed to only focus mainly on 2 candidates.....again disappointed. Enough said.

The audience was not comatose....the audience was TOLD by NBC'S Brian Williams to refrain from applause and standing ovations so that candidates can answer questions in alloted time. This was reported on a local radio station in Pittsburgh...the host of the radio show was at that debate.
I think everyone should send this out as well as comments to NBC! who is the media to squash your right of free speech(applause or otherwise) during a debate???

Don't any of you know that you can only vote for the Pope if you're Catholic? Only Republicans can vote in the Republican Preference in Florida. November is a long way off, and we have the conventions first and before that the State of the Union.
Big mistake doing the debate tonight before the State of the Union, had they looked at the schedule they could all have slammed the President. Now, he can respond while the iron's still hot!

So surprised that Brian, during the debate, and Andrea and others, afterward, spoke as though this is a two-person debate!! I usually really trust Brian Williams to be unbiased, but do you realize how much that sort of talk influences voting decisions? People think, "why vote for Paul or Santorum?...it's between the other two." Really, really disappointed in the coverage, NBC.
I strongly dislike the major networks focus on the candidates they think are valid. I agree that Brain Williams has encouraged the bickering. I wish that they would give each candidate equal time to respond. They seem to cut off Ron Paul who is the one candidate I would like to hear more from.
Mittens FINALLY took off his gloves. It's about time he stopped Gingrich in his tracks by pointing out to the American public what an UTTER SLEAZEBALL Newt Gingrich really is. Mitt made well placed blows...criticizing Gingrich's time as Speaker of the House, the Ethics violations, His unpopularity among his co-workers, and the fact that he was hired for his 1.6 million dollar job as "historian" for Freddy Mac....by the HEAD LOBBYIST. Gingrich sold America to suit himself and he'll do it again.
Romney did really well tonight. Gingrich has to be at home rubbing his poor red backside.

I had higher expectations of Brian Williams. Then Brian subdues the audience into some silent number of observers. Apparently Brian and those he represents feel that we are to remain silent and not show any form of involvement by way of applause, jeers, cheers or any emotion.
The questions were not intended to show any intellect what so ever.
What a boring, controlled event by ABC.

wow...wow.... first the nbc team did not stay with there program. thay did not give all the candidates to anser questions ask to all to anser. was not run well i am verry discouraged on the two that is first and second. in giving not equal time to all...... we would like change but will not vote for the person or persons would make change.......good luck to our contry in making it in the nexed 4 years.....
Watched all the debates and this one the worst ever. 35 minutes of arguing, BW not forcing them to answer questions, and letting them go on and on saying the same things they have said for what? 17 debates. They know nothing except bashing the other and especially OBAMA. If they didn't have OBAMA they wouldn't have much to say would they? It would be great to see them actually verbalize sincerely and logically just what in the hell they are going to do for this country. and not a bunch of broad based statements. Love BW but so very disappointed in his performance at this debate. The contestants failed miserably except for Ron Paul who is the only one who is serious, tells the truth and makes sense. At least until he goes into too much detail!! It IS all complicated but I believe he gets it all!!!! PAUL OR OBAMA WILL HAVE MY VOTE
By failing to follow-up on Rick Santorum's argument against the Wall Street Bailout, Brian Williams ensured that tonight's debate would focus on petty charges of influence peddling and minor issues. There was an opportunity here to raise a VERY important question and Williams missed it big. Shame.
