ONLINE EXCLUSIVE: Social gaming company Zynga is behind popular games like 'Farmville' and 'Words With Friends.' NBC's Kate Snow traveled to the company's headquarters in San Francisco for a behind-the-scenes look at how Zynga develops games that more than 150 million people play every month.
Watch Kate Snow's full profile of Zynga, and its founder Mark Pincus, 'Game Changer,' from Rock Center with Brian Williams.

I will be anxious to hear what he has to say about the forbes story, in which Zynga claims they just don't care about their consumer.
he used the word "free" gaming..... that's a joke. if you want the "good" stuff you must pay real money:(
I would be more interested to know why we are having so many problems with the game Farmville and what is being done to fix it. We are losing our news feeds, having to load and reload our farms three to four times, not getting credit for completing some quests, farm cash being deducted twice for early access to new farms or other items, not being able to post and share with friends or ask for items we need. There are a multitude of issues going on. Some players are so fed up that they have stopped playing the game.
why don't they just make a 10 dollar disc and sell it at target with all the money things available so you dont have to pay extra
I'm with Iris Mizell on this one!!! What gives, Looks like Zanga got enough money from us now ther leaving us hanging. Not Good at All !!!!!!
Why not wait and watch the 10 pm show, and, then adjust our opinion. Personaly, I enjoy the game, once You learn to get past most of the dollar gottchas.
I don't know what Mr. Pincus is so proud of, other than making billions off consumers playing his games. Zynga does not listen to it's players. They have increasingly made playing the games a "job" rather than a fun game. I used to play 8-10 of their games and now only play 2; and am about to drop those as well. They started giving us unreasonable goals both in what the goal requests and the number of goals/missions given to us at one time. I have encouraged my FB friends to flood this space with their comments, in the hopes that SOMEONE listens and Zynga finally HEARS us!!! United WE stand, divided THEY stand!!!
Regardless of how you feel about Zynga you have to admit they've created some great SOCIAL games - and that's not easy. It takes time, money and vision. But based upon these comments it sounds like they need to pay a little closer attention to player input. The same could be of most companies though. Retaining app users is as big a problem as acquiring them.
Like a lot of people, I think Zynga's best game is Words With Friends. And if you're as addicted to it as I am, you might want to read our recent article about similar games on our app review site, TheRecapp.com.
Their customer service is a horrible experience, especially when their game screws up. They make millions from it's players and refuse to help when their games mess up. Especially in their poker app and some Farmville related issues. All you get is the same automated response of "our developers are currently aware of the issue and are working to fix it...." Really, what about helping us after the problem is fixed.
What Rock Center/NBC failed to report is how many problems the Games have in Postings to Facebook, Since Facebook's NEW TIME LINE came out. Zynga while I feel is an okay company, you really need to talk about the NEWS that 800,000,000 dollars made from the players of Farmville/CafeWorld/Zynga Games. But they don't use the money to UPGRADE their information systems to handle request, it's been now two weeks, and FARMVILLE is not posting to FACEBOOK, nor are Facebook/Zynga worried about it. That's what you should have been reporting on.
Brian Williams, your management of the Florida republican debate was a disgrace, you gave more time to the two phonies Newt and Mitt and gave hardly five minutes to Rick and Paul. Please note that Paul and Rick are genuine and Paul is supported by all young and many former Obama supporters. The media is not respecting Paul because it does not like his foreign policy, but note that Paul has been getting 20% of the votes polled. The media complains that we dont have genuine and honest people in politics, but then media does not live up to the standards and have their own agenda and not respecting the younger section of the reviewers. Shame on you Brian!
